Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or halibut work great)
- 2 lemons (one for slices, one for juice)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives for extra flavor
Instructions
- Select fresh, high-quality fish fillets. Rinse under cold water and pat dry. Place in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Drizzle evenly over the fish. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake uncovered for 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily. For extra crispiness, broil for 2 minutes, watching carefully.
Notes
- Use fresh lemons and herbs for the best flavor.
- Marinating enhances the lemon and herb taste.
- Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
- Serve with sides like salads, roasted vegetables, or grains.
