Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth and set aside.
- Whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and mashed bananas until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
