Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a nonstick loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat well until creamy and uniform.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
