- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- ยฝ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup frosting of your choice
Instructions
- Prepare your dry ingredients by measuring 2 cups of all-purpose flour and combining it with baking powder and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and milk, then add eggs and vanilla. Mix smoothly and combine with dry ingredients.
- Add food coloring to the batter and mix until you achieve your desired shades. Grease and flour your cake pans and pour the batter into them.
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and bake for 25-30 minutes, then allow to cool before frosting.
