Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the meatballs. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and serve hot with marinara sauce, pasta, or as appetizers.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
- Substitute different cheeses like mozzarella or ricotta.
- Bake meatballs at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes instead of frying.
- Freeze cooked meatballs for easy meal options later.
