- ΒΎ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 ΒΌ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup brewed strong coffee or espresso, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfingers (savoiardi)
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Dark chocolate shavings (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee or espresso and allow it to cool. Mix in the coffee liqueur if desired.
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until smooth and thick. Carefully fold in the mascarpone cheese until fully combined.

- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes
- Use high-quality mascarpone for a smooth, creamy texture.
- Ensure the coffee is cooled before dipping ladyfingers to prevent sogginess.
- Chill the dessert overnight for the best flavor and texture.
- You can add flavor variations like vanilla or different liqueurs to customize your tiramisu.
