Flavorful Asian turkey meatballs glazed with a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for dinner or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, ginger, green onions, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and golden browned.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk together remaining honey, soy sauce, and sriracha to make the sauce.
  6. Toss hot meatballs in the sauce or serve sauce on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or lime juice to the sauce.
  • These meatballs can also be cooked in a skillet or slow cooker for different textures and flavors.
