Instructions

  1. Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Coat lightly with soy sauce and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sliced peppers until fragrant and tender. Add honey and red chili flakes if desired, cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with the honey pepper glaze. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, cook for 1 minute. Gradually add cream or milk, whisking until thickened. Stir in cheeses until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and mustard.
