Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of your favorite brownie mix or homemade brownie batter
- White candy melts or white chocolate chips
- Milk chocolate or dark chocolate for detailing
- Red gel food coloring or red icing
- Mini marshmallows (optional, for eyeball sclera)
- Food-safe decorating tools or toothpicks
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe. Bake and then cool completely. Cut into squares.
- Melt white candy melts or white chocolate until smooth. Dip mini marshmallows or white chocolate discs into the melted chocolate to create the eyeball sclera.
- Allow the white chocolate to set. Use melted milk or dark chocolate to draw the iris around the white part. Add a small amount of red icing or food coloring for bloodshot effects, and a tiny black dot for the pupil.
- Place the decorated eyeballs on top of the brownie squares. Use toothpicks or decorating tools to add vein details or additional features for realism.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness. Ensure decoration remains intact during storage.
Notes
- For vegan or gluten-free options, use appropriate chocolate alternatives and gluten-free brownie mixes.
- Decorate the eyeballs with additional details like blood veins using piping gel or colored icing for a more realistic look.
- Prepare the eyeballs ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to assemble on the brownies.
