Ingredients
- Pre-made pizza dough or pizza bases
- Tomato sauce or marinara
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Black olives (for eyes and decorations)
- Cheddar cheese or yellow cheese
- Cooked pepperoni, salami, or sausage slices
- Bell peppers (orange, green, or red)
- Optional toppings: mushrooms, ham, bacon bits
- Olive oil for brushing
- Cookie cutters (optional, for fun shapes)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into small rounds using a cookie cutter or a glass. Place the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread a spoonful of tomato sauce evenly over each mini pizza base. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Use slices of black olives to make eerie eyes or spider shapes. Add slices of pepperoni or sausage for creepy mouths or wounds. Slice bell peppers into small shapes for pumpkins or bats. Use different colored vegetables or cheese to create spooky faces or symbols.
- Brush the edges of each mini pizza with olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Remove and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until crispy.
- Customize toppings for various spooky effects or dietary needs.
- Use fun cookie cutters to create themed shapes for extra festivity.
