- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks
- Orange, green, and black icing for decorating
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until combined. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough and cut out pumpkin shapes.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool.
- Fill cooled cookies with milk chocolate, then decorate with icing to create faces and pumpkin features.
