Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk or cream (optional, for fluffier eggs)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, washed and chopped
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by washing and chopping the spinach, crumbling the feta cheese, and whisking the eggs with milk or cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture. Allow it to cook for a minute until the edges begin to set.
- Sprinkle the chopped spinach over one half of the omelet and add the crumbled feta cheese. Cook for an additional minute until the spinach wilts slightly.
- Fold the omelet over and cook for another minute until the cheese melts and the omelet is fully cooked. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a non-stick pan for easier flipping.
- Don’t overcook to avoid a dry omelet.
- Medium heat is key for even cooking.
- Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor.
- Thoroughly whisk eggs for a fluffier texture.
