Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of high protein beef bites (sirloin, tenderloin, or stew meat cut into chunks)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: crushed red pepper for heat
Instructions
- Start by cutting the beef into bite-sized chunks. Season them generously with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the seasoned beef chunks into your Crock-Pot. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the beef, ensuring even coating.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the beef is tender and juicy.
- Once cooked, gently toss the beef bites in the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley or red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of beef broth during reheating leftovers.
- You can substitute beef with chicken or pork, adjusting cooking times accordingly.
- Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor if available.
