Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (spicy or mild, your choice)
- 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: cooked bacon, sliced tomatoes, or green onions
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned and cooked through. Break it apart with a spatula, then drain excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour into a greased skillet and cook over low heat, stirring gently until just set. Chop the cooked eggs into small pieces.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider buns if not pre-sliced. Spread cooked sausage on the bottom halves, then add scrambled eggs. Sprinkle shredded cheese and cover with top buns. Brush with melted butter or egg wash if desired.
- Bake assembled sliders in a baking dish for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden.
Notes
- You can pre-cook the sausage and refrigerate until assembly.
- For a creamier egg texture, add a splash of cream or extra milk.
- Use fresh, quality sausage for best flavor.
- Customize with toppings like bacon, tomato, or green onions.
