  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and sliced scallions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots, stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Return beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce and sesame oil, toss well to combine and heat through.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
