- 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and sliced scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots, stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
- Return beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce and sesame oil, toss well to combine and heat through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
