Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix flour and salt in a mixing bowl, create a well, and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Punch down the risen dough, roll it out into a circular shape according to your thickness preference.
