Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) of peach slices in syrup
- 1 package of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
- 2 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping
Instructions
- Sauté the sliced fresh peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until they soften and become fragrant. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the refrigerated cinnamon roll dough on a lightly floured surface. Spread the peach filling evenly over the dough. Optionally, sprinkle chopped nuts for added crunch. Carefully roll the dough into a pin wheel and cut into 8-10 slices.
- Place the sliced rolls into a greased baking dish, ensuring they are spaced evenly to allow for expansion. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Drizzle with icing once out of the oven.
Notes
- Optional toppings include chopped pecans or walnuts for added crunch.
- Ensure peaches are softened before spreading for best flavor and texture.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated.
