Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian-style tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant. Pour in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Coat chicken in panko breadcrumbs and return to the skillet.
  3. Top chicken with mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
