Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Roll the mixture into 1.5-inch balls using your hands. Place each on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook the meatballs in batches for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Optional: Simmer the cooked meatballs in marinara sauce for 10 minutes for extra flavor and tenderness.
Notes
- For added flavor, include diced onions or shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Use a cookie scoop for uniformly sized meatballs.
- Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Can be baked at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes as an alternative.
