- 9 cups of Chex cereal (or other rice cereal)
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter (smooth preferred)
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal in a large bowl. Gently fold to coat all pieces evenly.
- Transfer the coated cereal to a large resealable plastic bag or container. Add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until thoroughly coated.
- Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to set.
