- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup sprinkles (for the batter and decoration)
- 2 cups frosting (your favorite flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture while mixing until just combined. Fold in ½ cup of sprinkles for a festive touch!
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and pour the batter evenly into each liner, filling them about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting. Top with frosting and add colorful sprinkles on top.
