- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pepperoni slices or cooked sausage (optional)
- ¼ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Fresh basil or oregano for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into 4-6 equal squares.
- Spread pizza sauce in the center of each square, add cheese and toppings, then sprinkle with seasonings.
- Brush edges with beaten egg and fold over to seal tightly.
- Place pockets on a lined baking sheet and brush tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving.
