- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten chicken breasts and season with Italian seasoning.
- Mix breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and coat chicken pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown chicken on both sides.
- Layer marinara sauce in a casserole dish, place browned chicken on top, then cover with more marinara and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- You can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Serve with cooked pasta or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
