Instructions
- Start by cooking your ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Once cooked, set aside. Diced onions and bell peppers can be sautéed in the same skillet for added flavor.
- Prepare your cornbread batter according to the package instructions or your preferred homemade recipe. To the batter, add sour cream, milk, and eggs, mixing until smooth. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a greased baking dish, spread the cooked ground meat mixture evenly. Layer with corn kernels, sautéed vegetables, and sprinkle additional cheese on top. Pour the cornbread batter over the layered ingredients, ensuring even coverage.
