Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and chop the vegetables. Use a vegetable chopper or knife for quick prep.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and bell pepper until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to coat the meat and vegetables evenly.
- Add diced tomatoes and kidney beans, stirring to combine all ingredients.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.

- Adjust spice levels to taste—add cayenne pepper for more heat.
- If you prefer a thicker chili, simmer uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
