  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 counts) of Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound sliced ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese or cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating completely, keeping the package intact.
  2. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared dish. Layer sliced ham evenly over the rolls, then add cheese slices. Cover with the top half of the rolls, pressing down gently.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, poppy seeds (if using), and oregano. Mix well. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the sliders.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add crispy bacon or caramelized onions before assembling the sliders.
  • You can substitute different cheeses such as provolone, Colby, or Monterey Jack.
  • Use different deli meats like turkey or roast beef for variety.
  • The sliders can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
