Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat with bread crumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and herbs. Mix gently until well incorporated, avoiding overmixing to keep it tender.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a baking sheet. Spread ketchup or barbecue sauce evenly over the top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.
- Serve with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad.
