- 1 pound (450g) fresh carrots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the carrots until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Add cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until glossy and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Use baby carrots for quick preparation.
