Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a tray or plate.
- Arrange the meatballs in the slow cooker. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika if using. Pour this gravy over the meatballs.
- Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
- For a leaner version, substitute ground chicken or turkey.
- You can replace cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or make a homemade gravy for a fresher taste.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for extra flavor.
- Adjust seasonings to match your taste preferences.
