Instructions
- Place beef stew meat into the slow cooker.
- Add carrots, potatoes, celery, onion, and garlic around the beef.
- Pour in beef broth and stir in tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until beef is tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy a cozy, hearty meal.
Notes
- You can add peas or green beans during the last 30 minutes for extra flavor and nutrition.
- For a thicker stew, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with cold water and stir into the stew during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
