  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 bag (32 oz) of frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup with sour cream, half of the shredded cheese, paprika, and salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly in a large baking dish. Pour the creamy soup mixture over the beef, spreading gently.
  4. Layer the frozen tater tots on top, covering the entire surface.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, until tater tots are crispy and golden brown. During the last 5 minutes, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
