- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup chopped broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam or blanch broccoli until tender, then chop finely.
- Roll out puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread broccoli evenly on the pastry, then sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then slice into 1-inch rounds.
- Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve warm.
Notes
- Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- You can substitute with other veggies like spinach or bell peppers.
