Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Lightly flour your surface and roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle about ΒΌ inch thick. Cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide and 4-5 inches long.
- Mix softened goat cheese with salt and thyme if using. Spread a thin layer over each pastry strip, leaving a ΒΌ inch border. Distribute blackberries evenly on top, drizzle with honey if desired.
- Fold or roll the strips into twists or spirals. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed. Monitor closely to prevent over-browning.
