- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fried onion strings
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, sour cream, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in green beans until well coated.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden.

- Can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated before baking.
