Instructions
- Melts the dark chocolate in microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Whips the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Carefully folds the melted chocolate into the whipped cream, then adds vanilla extract and powdered sugar if desired.
- Gently incorporates the chopped pecans into the mousse mixture.
- Pours the mousse into a prepared crust and refrigerates for at least 2 hours.
- Once set, spreads crushed cookies or Oreos over the top to resemble dirt.
- Decorates with gummy worms or edible worms for a whimsical worms in dirt look.
