- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook macaroni until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, then whisk in milk and Dijon mustard. Add shredded cheeses, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a baking dish.
- Mix bread crumbs with a little melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve hot.

- You can add cooked bacon or sautéed vegetables for extra flavor.
