Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder (aluminum-free)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Cooking spray or olive oil
For the three sauces:
- Buffalo Sauce: hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic Parmesan Sauce: melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley
- Sweet and Spicy Honey Sriracha: honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar
Optional: celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing for serving.
Instructions
- Pat and dry the chicken wings thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture for crispier wings.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Arrange the coated wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping wings halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- While wings cook, prepare sauces by melting butter, mixing with ingredients specific to each sauce, and tossing cooked wings in your preferred sauce.
- Serve immediately with celery sticks and dressing of choice for maximum crunch and flavor.
Notes
- Ensure wings are completely dry before coating to achieve maximum crispiness.
- For extra crunch, you can double coat the wings or increase cooking time slightly.
- Adjust sauce ingredients to taste for milder or spicier flavor profiles.
