Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle of dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 2 cups of fresh apple cider
- 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda
- 2-3 fresh apples, sliced (tart and sweet varieties)
- 1-2 cinnamon sticks
- ½ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Slice apples and orange into thin wedges and place in a large pitcher or bowl. Add cinnamon sticks and drizzle honey or maple syrup over the fruit; gently stir to coat.
- Pour the white wine into the pitcher, then add the fresh apple cider. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to meld flavors.
- Just before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for a bubbly finish. Fill glasses with ice cubes, ladle in the sangria along with some fruit slices for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- You can replace the white wine with apple juice or sparkling apple cider for a non-alcoholic version.
- Garnish with extra fruit slices, cinnamon sticks, or star anise for a more festive presentation.
- Best served chilled; add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz.
