Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups of fresh apple cider
  • 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda
  • 2-3 fresh apples, sliced (tart and sweet varieties)
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Slice apples and orange into thin wedges and place in a large pitcher or bowl. Add cinnamon sticks and drizzle honey or maple syrup over the fruit; gently stir to coat.
  2. Pour the white wine into the pitcher, then add the fresh apple cider. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to meld flavors.
  3. Just before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for a bubbly finish. Fill glasses with ice cubes, ladle in the sangria along with some fruit slices for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy.
