Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened, approximately 3-4 minutes. <li id="instruction-step-3" reduce heat and pour in heavy cream. Stir and simmer gently. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Add cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the creamy tomato sauce. Warm through for 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.
