Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine works great)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, or mushrooms
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Reduce heat to low, pour in heavy cream, and stir well.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Combine cooked pasta with the beef sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice for a low-carb version.
- For a dairy-free option, replace heavy cream with coconut milk or cashew cream.
- Adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach enhances flavor and nutrition.
