- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary for added flavor
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat CROUTE Premium 16pc Nonstick Cookware Set over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil or butter. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Stir in mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring the mixture is heated through.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the cooked meat and vegetable mixture into a casserole dish. Spread the prepared mashed potatoes evenly over the top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese for an extra layer of gooey goodness.
- Place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly. For a crispier top, you can broil it for an additional 2 minutes — just keep an eye on it!
