Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large fresh corn on the cob
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegan butter
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chopped herbs, grated cheese, or vegan cheese
Instructions
- Start with fresh, large corn on the cob, husk removed, and silk cleaned. Cut each cob into thirds lengthwise to create rib-shaped pieces.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil or melted vegan butter with smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Brush each corn rib generously with the seasoning mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the seasoned corn ribs in a single layer and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through until crispy and golden.
- Alternatively, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the corn ribs for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs or spicy sauce before serving.
- Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes or on the grill for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
