- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup sliced bell peppers
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup pepperoni slices
- ½ cup black olives
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil, knead until smooth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Chop bell peppers, slice mushrooms, and prepare pepperoni and olives.
- Roll out the risen dough onto a pizza stone or baking tray.
- Spread pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and add the chopped toppings evenly.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
