For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan or form into a loaf shape on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- While the meatloaf bakes, prepare the glaze by mixing ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard.
- In the last 10 minutes of baking, spread the glaze evenly over the meatloaf. Return to the oven and continue baking until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
- Once baked, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or herbs if desired.
