  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground meat, chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped onion, grated Parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the meatballs until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  4. Arrange the cooked meatballs in a baking dish, top with additional mozzarella if desired, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
