Instructions

  2. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and shape into a loaf. Spread half of the ketchup or BBQ sauce over the top. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  3. Remove from oven and layer frozen tater tots evenly on top of the meatloaf. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tots. Drizzle with remaining sauce if desired.
  4. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, until the tots are crispy and the cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
