Discover how to make the ultimate Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps, a delicious and easy chicken wrap recipe packed with flavor. Perfect for lunch or dinner!

  • Total Time: 20 mins
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced cooked bacon, sautéed peppers, or onions for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir well and remove from heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, garlic butter, mayonnaise (or sour cream), salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly coated. Fold in extra toppings if desired.
  3. Lay out the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go, to form a wrap. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down first, cooking until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Brush the outside with garlic butter for extra crispiness if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly cooked, shredded chicken for the best flavor.
  • Add chopped fresh herbs such as cilantro or chives for aroma.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like pepper jack or Swiss for variety.
  • For extra crispy wraps, toast in a panini press after assembling.
