- 1 pound sliced steak
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until fragrant.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Add sliced steak and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in milk and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
