Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (skin on or off, your preference)
- Fresh dill, chopped
- Olive oil
- Lemon, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Season generously with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the chopped fresh dill over the salmon.
- Lightly brush the salmon fillets with olive oil. Place a few lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the broiler and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with extra fresh dill and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Donβt overcook: Salmon cooks quickly under the broiler, so watch it carefully to prevent drying out.
- Use high-quality salmon for the best flavor and texture.
- Adjust the broiler rack for desired crispiness.
- Pat salmon dry before seasoning for better browning.
- Experiment with flavors by adding garlic powder, paprika, or other herbs and spices.
