- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped

- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Broccoli: Wash and chop the broccoli into small florets. Steam or blanch if desired.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add broccoli and seasonings.
- Assemble the Quiche: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer cheese, broccoli mixture, and remaining cheese in the pie crust.
- Pour the Egg Mixture: Whisk eggs, milk, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Pour over the filling.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden. Let cool before slicing.
